Dear God/ess, This is you as a 3 year old pup, Mr Man. You were one of the intense Ones. You herded our sheep up the lane, across three properties and into the golf course--then you disappeared. I led the sheep easily back to the house.

I remember praying--please, please come back.

And when you did, you knew you were in deep doodoo. But I was so happy to see you again that I just hugged and hugged you, but of course you nipped me on the nose.

Then I remember the time you herded our sheep Daisy May into the river and she swam across and had an adventure in downtown Lancaster, PA!

Thinking back over your puppy and youth years, I think--How is it possible we survived? You or me?

But we did and now you've gone over to the great beyond.

I will always remember your intensity and this picture reminds me.

Please remember me and nip my nose again when we finally meet.
