Dear God/ess, Today, Ulysses The Dog is going to get the first bath of his entire life. Usually, the Conestoga River does the good cleanliness deed, but the long winter of illness is pleading for a Baptism--with soap!

Last night, I had the first fund-raiser on Kate Loving And The Collective Wisdom, with guest Chuck Pennacchio. I am excited to use the show to raise money for worthy causes. From my point of view, the worthiest cause of my lifetime is to implement a One Payer system here in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth. We were raising money to fund the Economic Impact Study, which will prove for once and for all the cost-savings of a true Universal Health Care Delivery System.

Additionally, Chuck Pennacchio is one of the best speakers you will ever hear, anywhere. We worked for his run for Senate here in PA in 2008. I walked miles, going door to door, distributing leaflets and telling people why they should vote for Chuck.

If he runs for political office again, I would do the same thing. With the added efforts of our Progressives For Pennsylvania group, Chuck won big here in Lancaster City and County.

Since his run, he has worked tirelessly for the Single Payer Cause. He also is a Political Science Professor. On the show, you will hear what an excellent and brilliant teacher he is. I admire his passion. The discussion was a lively one.
