Dear God/ess, Ulysses once again visited The Grotto at Mount Saint Mary's. I was taken by the fact that every statue of Mary depicted her as a bare-footed maiden. One statue shows her bare foot near the head of a Serpent with an apple in his mouth.

This is a metaphor for The Experience of Kundalini Energy, yet not allowing this energy to overtake the vessel of life vitality. Mary is in control of the spiritual forces that inwardly travel up and down the spine.

The naked foot upon the Serpent is shown here today.

Ulysses, Tomaso and I make pilgrimages to the Grotto as often as we can. Today, no humidity revealed a beautiful view of nearby Pennsylvania Mountains.

We prayed and meditated at various outdoor shrines while listening to crow and cardinal.

We filled water jugs with Holy Water from the endless fountain. We lit a candle as we silently appealed to the higher forces for the granting of Divine Destiny.

I feel a change is coming though I know not what it is. The Grotto is a beautiful place to plant seeds of hope and recovery in this moment, and far far beyond.
