Dear God/ess, Last night, during my interview with Bill Tronolone, the Director of the Grotto at Mount Saint Mary's, I was so grateful that Bill's belief in Roman Catholicism was all inclusive and embraced and respected the beliefs of all religions. He saw his religion as Universal Truth, not the only truth.
Naturally, I was relieved.
The Roman Catholic Saints give everyone solace, not just people who practice Roman Catholicism. The Saints embody all that is possible and good in this world and they encourage the whole of human-kind to follow in their path of humility.
Ulysses The Dog led us to Bill Tronolone, the first time we took Ulysses to The Grotto at Mount Saint Mary's. Ulysses saw Bill and bounded across the parking lot to meet him. Ulysses was not feeling well that day, but after receiving the blessing of Guadalupe, he regained his strength and ability to urinate. Finally, he regained enough strength to get the green light for the surgical removal of his Cancer, four days after Uly's second visit to the Grotto.
Bill told stories of healing that people have told him over the years, healing that emanated from the pure water there, or from the Saints, themselves.
The Beautification of Pope John Paul II occurs in Rome, Sunday May 1, 2011. Bill said, "Pope John Paul II is on the fast track to canonization."
A beautiful statue of Pope John Paul II, commissioned and then created by an Italian sculptor, will simultaneously be unveiled that day. Thousands of pilgrims are expected to attend the unveiling and the Mass at The Grotto. Tens of thousands are expected to attend the Mass in Rome, honoring The Beautification of Pope John Paul II. The energy of flow will rock the psyche of even the most unconscious person, for example, myself, who will be sleeping that day.
The Golden Statue of The Blessed Mother, pictured here in this video, is a symbol of the unifying message of Love that the Blessed Mother gives to the world. She appears to people and gives them the miracle of peaceful perception. Bill said this several times during the course of the show.
Peace is what people experience at he Grotto. They may arrive saddened and confused, but they depart with a renewed sense of wholeness and determination to face their adversity with Grace.
We celebrate the power spots in the universe even as we realize that the Blessed Mother is everywhere, but mostly she can be found in the collective heart of all of us.
