Dear God/ess, As we inch our way toward the Equinox, I am struck by the greening, the fast growth, the quick transitions moment by moment of the season. The skies yesterday were a mixture of purple, green, and an azure blue as the storms came and receded.

The Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat Center reminds me of the tropics with an abundance of Lightening Bugs. They light up every conceivable area leading down to the river that flows past eternally.

Late last night, all the chapter headings for "Prayers To Heal: Wake Up Calls From Our Collective Spirit" spontaneously arose in my consciousness. What joy!

I stayed away from politics in the book. But prayer does go hand in hand with our ailing political system. Sometimes the only thing anyone can do is pray-- prayer to restore our civil liberties, prayer to instill a creative mind in medicine, prayers to end animal cruelty and senseless human violence.

For prayer is nothing more than the power of Love which can do everything and solve all the problems of the world, all problems great and small that originate first of all, in the mind.
